How do you move a stationary air compressor?

I’ve got a 60 gallon Kobalt air compressor with a cast iron, belt drive pump. I’ve heard these units aren’t supposed to be tipped in anyway but I’m moving. I’m trying to figure out how I can get this thing out of the house.

When I moved it in, a friend had a low trailer and a pallet jack and Lowes put it on his trailer with a fork lift…None of that equipment is available anymore. I thought about lifting it onto a truck but it weighs around 250lbs so that’s not an option either.

    Hi,
When I moved mine I use a 1000 lb dolly. it worked great.

I strapped it to the dolly for stability and kept it upright.

Get an appliance dolly, and have some one help you put it in the truck. They are not supposed to be tipped when in use.
